Introducing the Ohio Child Protection Bond Reform Proposal
Our Proposal Requires the Following:
1. No contact with minors
No in-person or online contact with any minor unless approved, supervised, or legally required.
2. No contact with the victim or victim’s family
No communication, intimidation, following, harassment, or indirect contact through third parties.
3. Social media restrictions
Offenders may not use platforms that allow unmonitored contact with minors unless specifically authorized by the court.
4. Restricted areas
No presence at:
- Schools
- Childcare centers
- Playgrounds
- Churches with youth programs
- Parks
- Libraries
- Youth sports or events
5. GPS or monitored check-ins
To ensure compliance and protect communities.
6. Immediate bond review for any violation
Any violation results in:
- Arrest
- Revocation of bond
- New charges, where applicable
