Ohio’s Child Protection Loophole The Reality

Allows individuals charged with child sex offenses to:

  • Live among children
  • Access social media without monitoring
  • Attend community spaces with minors present
  • Come into contact with victims and families
  • Appear at schools, parks, libraries, and youth events
  • Engage online without restrictions


This is not speculation— it is legal under current

Ohio bond laws unless a judge explicitly prohibits it.
